Looking for something fun to do at your next shower, birthday party or just a fun activity to do with friends? What is more fun than pour your own custom scented candle kits sent directly to you! Our candle kits come with pre-measured wax and oils. Or if you want to design your own custom scents we will send you a variety of scents for you to have some fun mixing your own blends!

What comes in the kit?

(1) 10 oz tumbler or 16 oz tumbler with lid
10 or 16 oz all natural soy wax
.75 oz or 1.0 fragrance oil
Wood stir stick
Wood wick holder
Easy to follow instructions:

STEP 1 – Turn Up the Heat

You will need a 16 oz glass pyrex measuring cup (or any microwave and heat safe container)
Place the block of wax into the container and place in the microwave. Heat the wax in the microwave for
the 4 minutes on HIGH. Carefully remove the container with heat resistant pads and stir the wax with
the wooden stick provided. The pyrex gets VERY HOT so please be cautious! If wax is not yet liquid,
return to the microwave in 30 second increments until melted and flowing.

STEP 2 – Pour Your Heart Out

Carefully pour the melted wax into the candle jar. HINT: Tuck the wick over the side of the jar while
pouring. Immediately pour the entire bottle of fragrance blend into the jar and stir with the wooden
stick for at least one minute while holding the wick to the side. Next, thread the wick through the middle
of the wick center stick. Place the stick on top of the candle jar with the wick standing straight up in the
center.

STEP 3 – Cool it Down

Let the candles cool on the counter for 90 minutes. After the 90 minutes, if you notice any holes have developed in the wax, use a hair dryer on low and gently heat the top layer of wax. Allow to cool again for about 5 minutes.

STEP 4 – Burn, Baby, Burn

Trim the wick with a pair of scissors to ¼ inch from the surface and wipe your candle with a clean towel, and you’re ready to burn, baby, burn! We hope you enjoy your custom-scented candle from Augusta Candle Company.
